Floor-standing speakers are box speakers typically used as front speakers in surround sound systems and stereo applications. Being in an often enclosure, the manufacturer is capable of controlling many factors that influence a speaker’s performance. They are larger and therefore more powerful.


Large speakers that stand independently on the floor. Floor speakers transit a broader range of sounds and frequencies including a deeper sound of bass. This in turn produces better sound quality with more punch to it.
